Many SOVO beds are available in a choice of fabrics and colours. Available options are displayed on the individual product page.

We make every reasonable effort to represent our fabrics accurately, but colours can vary depending on your screen, brightness settings, photography and room lighting. Upholstery fabrics can also appear lighter or darker depending on the direction of the pile. Where fabric samples are available, we recommend viewing one before ordering if precise colour matching is important.

Absolutely. Please measure your front door, hallway, staircase, landing, bedroom door and any tight corners. Pay particular attention when purchasing a bed with a large or tall headboard.

Typical UK mattress dimensions are:

• Single – 90 × 190cm
• Small Double – 120 × 190cm
• Double – 135 × 190cm
• King – 150 × 200cm
• Super King – 180 × 200cm

These are mattress dimensions. The actual bed frame will usually be larger. Always check the dimensions on the individual product page.

A standard UK Double mattress measures approximately 135 × 190cm, whereas a King measures approximately 150 × 200cm. A King therefore gives you additional width and length.

Yes, provided your mattress is the correct size and suitable for the bed you’ve selected.

A divan generally consists of an upholstered base supporting the mattress and can be a practical choice where storage and efficient use of space are important. An upholstered bed frame usually has upholstered side rails and a more prominent headboard, giving it a more design led appearance.

An ottoman bed uses the area underneath the mattress platform as hidden storage. The platform lifts with the assistance of a lifting mechanism, providing access to the storage compartment underneath.

A solid platform ottoman divan provides the mattress with a continuous supporting platform.A gas lift bedframe has a slatted base and supports the mattress using individual slats and can provide increased airflow around the mattress. The construction can also affect how the mattress feels, so check the individual product specification.

If you want maximum hidden storage, an ottoman is usually the better choice. If you want quick access to smaller compartments, drawers may be more convenient. Remember that drawers require sufficient space alongside the bed to open.

Ottoman beds generally use gas assisted lifting mechanisms designed to make opening and closing the storage platform easier. Always follow the operating and safety instructions supplied with your bed.

No. Spring count is only one part of mattress construction. Spring design, comfort layers, fillings and overall construction are also important.

Many of our beds require assembly. You can choose to assemble the bed yourself or select our optional assembly service where available.

Our assembly service includes taking the bed to the selected room and assembling the new bed, subject to safe and suitable access. Unless expressly stated otherwise, it does not include dismantling existing furniture, disposing of an old bed or mattress, moving existing furniture or removing packaging. Please ensure the room and assembly area are clear before our team arrives.

Eligible products can be cancelled and returned in accordance with your statutory rights and our Returns & Refunds Policy. Different rules may apply to genuinely bespoke or personalised products.
